Meet the Founder
Maxeykate Kroker
I went to Columbia College Chicago for fashion design, and graduated with fashion business and marketing degrees. I’ve spent the last 8 years working in business to learn as much as I can to have the knowledge and experience to successfully run my own, all while battling a chronic inflammatory disease called Endometriosis.
I quickly learned that with my condition I had to shift perspectives of what success looked like to me. Working at a fast pace was exciting, but a lot for my body to keep up with long term. My younger dreams of being a traveling work-a-holic came to a stand still. So I reinvisioned my dream and what it would look like at a pace that my body can keep up with long term, and now I’m sewing and creating full-time. The corporate dream got its official tombstone once I stopped resisting. I’ve connected back with that whimsical girl who used to dress herself in mixed prints and colors and whatever felt good to her that day.
I have over 15 years of experience in sewing with a very strong understanding of garment construction. I always handmake designs as high quality as possible using top techniques and materials. I'm creative to my core and designing fashion items is what truly feels like my calling— after what feels like the longest journey of finding myself.
